Vehicle Rental Terms & Conditions

  1. Vehicle Availability & Booking

    • All vehicle rentals are subject to availability at the time of booking.
    • Confirmation of booking is only guaranteed upon full payment.

  2. Rates & Invoicing

    • The total invoice includes the vehicle hire rate and all driver allowances.

  3. Payment Policy

    • Full payment is required before the rental period begins.
    • Payment can be made via bank transfer or mobile money.

  4. Fuel Policy

    • Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental.
    • Clients must return the vehicle with a full tank.

  5. Rental Duration & Additional Hours

    • Standard rental includes up to 14 hours of use within city limits.
    • Additional hours are available at an extra charge and must be arranged in advance.
    • Extended use beyond 14 hours without prior agreement will result in overtime charges.

  6. Out-of-City Rentals

    • Out-of-city rentals must be booked at least 72 hours in advance.
    • Additional charges apply based on distance and duration.
    • Fuel, toll fees, and driver accommodation (if required) are the responsibility of the client.
    • Vehicles must be driven only on main roads and designated routes. Off-road driving is strictly prohibited unless pre-approved.

  7. Driver & Usage Restrictions

    • All rentals come with a professional driver. Self-drive options are currently NOT available.
    • The vehicle is only to be used for the agreed purpose (e.g., city tours, airport transfers, business trips).

  8. Cancellations & Refunds

    • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the rental start date are eligible for a partial refund (subject to admin fees).
    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start date are non-refundable.

  9. Liability & Insurance

    • Sunset African Tours provides comprehensive insurance for the vehicle.
    • Clients are responsible for any damages caused by negligence, reckless behavior, or unauthorized vehicle use.

  10. Breakdowns & Emergencies

  • In the unlikely event of a breakdown, a replacement vehicle will be arranged as soon as possible.
  • 24/7 customer support is available for emergencies.
